Datamed srl is partecipating to an integrated project for the combined NMP-IST IP project sponsored by the European Union under the FP7 framework Reasearch Programme.
The project called Care-Man achronim of "HealthCARE by Biosensor Measurements And Networking" (http://www.attempto-projects.de/careman/).
The objective is an intelligent diagnosis equipment for healthcare with radical improvement of analytical parameters based on a biosensor system using disposables for multi analyte detection to address major needs of society in the EU healthcare in this century.
Therefore, the application-driven development of an integrated system and demonstrator will comprise research components, technical development, application in hospitals and point of care, IT components for data treatment and networking as well as molecular and cellular recognition components.
In the field of sensor technology Datamed srl is outsourcing scientific research activities for oxygen sensor to Joanneum Research Center -Institut für Chemische Prozessentwicklung und kontrolle, Graz (A) (link).
With Politecnico of Milano Department of Electronic and Information, Milan (I) advanced research until demonstrator phase has been perfomed for the blood flow masurment with optical technique (link).
